Hi, I’m Jenny Yerrick Martin.

Landing the right job starts with knowing how to tell your own story.

I came to Los Angeles with no connections and built a thriving career in entertainment. As a studio operations executive, I reviewed thousands of resumes, interviewed hundreds of candidates, and learned exactly what makes people stand out – not just on paper, but in person.

While the movie premieres were fun, what I found most fulfilling was coaching and developing my teams. I loved helping them play to their strengths, navigate challenges, and step confidently into new opportunities.

That passion led me to launch my career consulting and writing practice in 2009. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of professionals across entertainment, media, and communications land jobs, earn promotions, pivot fields, and find renewed meaning in their work.

I’ve also served as an adjunct professor with Boston University’s Los Angeles program, presented at SAG-AFTRA, Full Sail University, and Columbia College Chicago’s LA program, and written Breaking Into the Biz, a guide to launching and navigating a Hollywood career.

Today’s job market can feel as unpredictable and competitive as Hollywood itself. My goal is to help you cut through the noise, regroup from setbacks, and take control of your story with clarity, confidence, and momentum.
